ABOUT.

Zou2-San4! (Good morning in Cantonese) Hi there!

I'm an incoming sophomore at the City University of Hong Kong, pursuing a B.Sc. in Computing Mathematics of GREAT Program, allows me to conduct 2 years of independent research in undergrad studies.

I have a passion for diving deep into the world where mathematical modelling meets deep learning, particularly within the life sciences. Inspired by my family and friends, my current academic interests include investigating the dynamics of Eczema and other immunology-related topics.

Additionally, driven by global social movements and the work of Edward Snowden, I've developed a keen interest in Cybersecurity, with a special appreciation for open-source projects like GrapheneOS, QubesOS, and Signal.

I'm always excited to collaborate! Whether it's a Hackathon, a Kaggle competition, or an exciting project, feel free to reach out to me.

PERSONALITY.

PHILOSOPHY.

I live by the philosophy of Eudaimonia, striving for a fulfilling and meaningful life through continuous learning, personal growth, and making a positive impact. My work in tech and science aims to solve real-world problems and improve lives.

Beyond academics, I engage in volunteer activities to create tangible change. Every project I take on helps me refine my skills and contribute to a better future.

VOLUNTEERING.

Giving back to the community is a passion of mine. Currently, I volunteer on various projects, including installing rainwater harvesting systems in Malaysia and coordinating STEM education for children in Myanmar with Engineers Without Borders. Additionally, I engage with the elderly, hosting stalls to support and connect with our local community.

Celebrating with the elderly after successfully hosting a community stall!

HOBBIES.
Water Activities

I love staying active and exploring the sea. You'll often find me rowing, kayaking, or diving. These activities keep me connected to nature and provide a refreshing break.

Land Activities

On land, I enjoy playing the piano, gaming, hiking, and stargazing. My favorite games are Fall Guys and FIFA, which I still love to play in my free time.

I have a passion for reading philosophy and international relations books; Francis Fukuyama and Slavoj Žižek, despite their very different political values, have profoundly influenced my own.

Q: With your academic study and extracurriculars, do you have a life?

I don't.
